Ao Naga Tribe Website Launched

(Edit: This website doesn't function anymore.) New Website Launched to Promote Ao Naga History, Culture, Language, Festivals and Events – all presented in a very user-friendly format.

The Ao Nagas now have a new website which will help in propagating the history, language, and culture of the Ao Naga people. The website provides both, a panoramic view and an in-depth look at anything and everything that make up the Ao culture. It encapsulates various features like, the Ao Temeja (exclusively in the Ao dialect), an Encyclopedia on Ao history, culture, land and people, an Ao Dictionary, News and Events, Media Gallery (Ao Naga Videos, Music, Games & Photo gallery), a Chat Room for chat lovers, just to name a few.

The webmaster uses RavenNuke CMS to enhance users' website browsing experience. This new feature allows us to expand and extend the functionality and content of the site in a more ordered way. If you would like to make any comments about the site, please do create a user account and leave us a note in the forums. We look forward to hearing from you.

Whether you are deciding on things to do on your next trip to the Ao inhabited areas in Nagaland, or simply looking up the dates for a particular event, you will find the Website's calendar based system irreplaceable.

"Helping our festivals thrive is important not only to attract visitors, but also to our residents and for the preservation of our culture and history," remarked the site owner, Toshi Asen. One of the site's key features is the ability for festivals to create their own individual Web presence. The Aonaga.com "Your Account" enables site members to log in, enter their own information and photos from their home or office, essentially enabling them to design their own mini Web profile.
